Meet Sally from Serendipity Floral Designs

Sally - the go to wedding florist for bespoke floral designs

I recently had the huge pleasure of meeting Sally from Serendipity Floral Designs

I started following Sally on Instagram last year and immediately fell in love with her work and was really excited to do a Brand Photography Shoot for her.

Before her shoot we had a chat about what kind of images she needed and we realised that Sally rarely features on any of her own social media posts despite being the woman behind the brand.

This is really common for small businesses, we are often busy working away, showing people our creations but hardly ever showing our followers who we are.

A Brand Photography session is an opportunity to capture photos of you at work, covering all aspects of your role so that you can share these images on Facebook, Instagram, blog posts, your website etc and allow your followers to get to know you and give them the confidence to get in touch.

Most importantly though, a Brand Photography Shoot focuses on story telling. It’s not just about headshots or photos of your work. With this in mind, I asked Sally to talk me through her process and we captured images that reflected these steps.

We also discussed the use of flat lays and I shot a few for her using what we had to hand.

I made sure some of them had negative space which Sally could add text to later if desired.

More importantly, I talked Sally through my process of creating a flat lay and showed her how to position her set up in relation to the light and demonstrated the difference a reflector can make. This means that as the seasons change, Sally can create her own flat flays using seasonal flowers (if she ever gets a spare moment!) which she can then feature on her Instagram stories.

Be sure to follow Sally on Facebook and Instagram - she often does lovely workshops for things like Mother’s Day flowers and Christmas wreaths.

How Does a Brand Photography Shoot Work?

All of my Brand Photography Shoots are tailored towards the client. I make it my mission to have a really good understanding of your business model, ideal client, goals and of course your brand.

We then work together to create images that tell your story and showcase your business.

After your shoot you will receive a bank of images that are all inline with your branding.

You can then use these images across your social media platforms, website, blogs, online profiles, printed literature etc as and when you require them.

You will save yourself the hassle of having to take and edit your own photographs on a daily basis. And there will be no more wasted time looking through stock photo websites for images that match your branding.

If you think you might find a Brand Photography Shoot useful, get in touch and we can discuss the options and find a package that suits your requirements.
